National Giveback Ailliance help Boy Scouts start auction off right!

May 17th, 2011Posted by QtegoAuction Events

Qtego authorized auction Company National Giveback Alliance (NGA) was recently hired to provide the auction merchandise and the wireless auction service for the Boy Scouts of America’s (BSA) 8th Annual Metro Classic. The Golf event was chaired by Keith Holmes of AT&T and was held on May 5, 2011 at Chateau Elan in Atlanta Georgia.

Before the golf event and fun started the silent auction items had already raised $17,000! Mary Davis of NGA explained this was made possible by providing Qtego’s bid by phone auction service. The service allows attendees and non attendees of a event to participate in the auction by bidding and receiving updates instantly to their cell phones.

Days prior to the event, the BSA posted on their web site and sent emails out listing the auction items. Once the event started the bidding continued from the golf course and though out the evenings events.

AT&T’s Employee Resource Group HACEMOS featured Qtego’s Silent Auction Technology

November 8th, 2010Posted by QtegoAuction Events

AT&T’s National ERG Conference, held at the AT&T world headquarters in Dallas on the 22nd & 23rd of October, utilized Qtego’s revolutionary mobile auction technology.

AT&T executives from across the country participated in HACEMOS’ Silent Auction, which started a week prior to the conference, when HACEMOS’ Dallas executive Max Herrera emailed auction information to ERG chapters across the country.

Max, with the support of Qtego, prepared a digital catalog of 50 auction items to be offered and provided a direct link for registering the mobile phone numbers of those choosing to participate in the HACEMOS national event.  One goal of HACEMOS was to introduce Qtego’s auction technology to the 23 local HACEMOS chapters and provide a new technology solution for each of their respective fundraising campaigns within their local communities.  Qtego’s technology was a total success.   AT&T Mobility president and CEO Ralph de la Vega registered his mobile phone for the HACEMOS auction, and was excited that HACEMOS utilized a creative mobile technology to reach more participants nationwide for fundraising initiatives.
