Superbowl for Saturday’s Kids Event uses Qtego to increase silent auction revenue.

November 5th, 2010Posted by QtegoAuction Events

Jeff Saturday, All-Pro Center of the Indianapolis Colts and his wife, Karen, selected Qtego to provide the silent auction technology for Jeff Saturday’s “Superbowl Event for Kids” which directly benefited THE PEOPLE’S BURN FOUNDATION, whose sole mission is to provide advocacy services to burn survivors, and THE KIDS VOICE OF INDIANA, whose sole mission is to represent the best interests of abused and victimized children.  The evening was hosted by Bob & Tom of Q95 radio along with celebrity guests and many Colts players.  Patrons registered their mobile phones at check-in for the evening.  The silent auction bidding was spirited and doubled the money raised from their 2009 event.  Patti Weimer, Program Officer of Kids Voice of Indiana & Cindy Allison of the People’s Burn Foundation received many positive comments on Qtego and how easy it was to bid and give throughout the evening.  Patti wrote “Thank you Bob!  We just had our staff meeting and the consensus was that Qtego and your staff did an awesome job and provided professionalism and excellent customer service to our guests.  We are grateful for your involvement in our event beyond words!”

October 19th, 2010Posted by QtegoAuction Events Giving

MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION BIG WISH GALA has chosen Qtego for its SOLD OUT silent auction event!  600 guests are expected to attend, and the event is projected to raise over $250,000.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation – Indiana Region has partnered with Indianapolis-based Qtego Marketing Solutions, a new media telecommunications company specializing in telephony, data and automated consumer interfaces, to utilize their patented Silent Auction Technology.
“We are so excited to try Qtego’s Silent Auction Technology for the first time,” commented Executive Director Juli Miller. “Guests will use Qtego to submit bids via text message. Guests often miss out on an event because they hover over their bid sheets. Now they will be able to receive bid updates on their cell phones allowing them to enjoy all the Gala has to offer. We hope that using Qtego’s technology will help us raise more funds to enable us to grant more wishes,” said Miller.
Smartphones are not required as Qtego will work with any cellular phone. Standard text messaging rates apply. Qtego will provide bidding devices for those guests who do not have a cellular phone.
The event features a VIP reception, live and silent auctions, cocktails and a gourmet dinner. Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard will kick-off at the event and Colts Tight End Dallas Clark will serve as the master of ceremonies.
